Centre Shops sells for $3.7 million

Longtime Centre Shops of Longboat Key owner Don Roberts sold the shopping center this week for $3.7 million.

Roberts, listed on the deed as vice president of Centre Shops of L.K. Ltd., sold the shopping center, located in the 5300 block of Gulf of Mexico Drive, to FH Centre Shoppes LLC, of Sarasota, according to Manatee County property records.

The Longboat Observer was unable to immediately reach Robert Greene, listed as the Florida limited liability company’s registered agent, for comment.

According to the notice tenants received, ICORR Properties International will manage the property. Earl Fossum, vice president of ICORR, was out of the office Friday and was not available for comment.

Roberts purchased the Centre Shops for $3,661,700 in December 1998.
