Four-bedroom home tops sales at $2.25M

The following residential real estate transactions took place between April 7 and April 11. A home in Riverdale tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.

Gregory Taylor ad Mark Bowers, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3919 Hawk Island Drive to Mikael and Carol Newman, of Rochester, Minn., for $2.25 million. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, five baths, two half-baths, a pool and 5,787 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.75 million in 2008.

Country Club Village at Lakewood Ranch
Clinton and Susan Pierce, of Anna Maria, sold their home at 13211 Palmers Creek Terrace to Anna Seal, of Chapel Hill, N.C., for $1.63 million. Built in 2007, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,351 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.95 million in 2007.

Ernest and Mary Pihl, of Lakewood Ranch, sold their home at 7215 Desert Ridge Glen to Robert Heeren and Steven Kalt, trustees, of Bradenton, for $850,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,237 square feet of living area.

Douglas Fainelli, trustee, of Lakewood Ranch, sold the home at 7176 Whitemarsh Circle to David Moore and Gerald Hauber, of Lakewood Ranch, for $390,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,356 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $335,000 in 2011.

Mary Hagen, of Burlington, Vt., sold her home at 6515 Oakland Hills Drive to Allyn Jones, of Branchville, N.J., for $315,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,826 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2003.
