Popcorn Key
One Popcorn: Flop
Two Popcorns: Wait till it’s on video
Three Popcorns: Go see it
Four Popcorns: Standing ovation

'Runner Runner'
Two Popcorns

Genre: Drama
Cast: Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake, Gemma Arterton, Anthony Mackie, Oliver Cooper
Director: Brad Furman
Rating: R
Comment: An intriguing story line poorly developed and delivered. Nothing about the movie grips you and it is highly predictable. Hard to see Affleck in this high roller bad guy role too. Form over substance…….just no there, there.

'Gravity'
Two Popcorns

Genre: Sci-Fi / Dramma
Cast: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Ed Harris, Orto Ignatiussen
Director: Alfonso Cuaron
Rating: Pg-13
Comment: First, ALL the critics loved it, but seriously folks, take some Dramamine before you go. Many long vertigo producing action scenes with 360 degree camera spins and rolls. Bullock does a fine "scared" Astronaut acting job but it's hard to see her in a serious Astronaut role. Also, very hard to suspend disbelief as she free floats through space without a ship, first visiting the unoccupied Russian space station then on to the Chinese space station and she learns ridiculously fast how to operate them both while gasping for oxygen? Come on!
