WEEKEND BEST BET: Party on the Pass

Here’s a party you don’t want to pass up.

Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium will hold its Party on the Pass at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Mote Aquarium courtyard, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway. The annual party raises money to support Mote’s dolphin, whale and sea turtle hospitals. The party will feature beer, wine and food stations provided by the Sarasota-Manatee Originals, along with silent and live auctions.

Dress is casual. Tickets are $75. Reservations are required.
