Nov. 8
OFF THE WAGON
9 p.m. — 800 block of Siesta Key Circle.
Violation of Probation. Deputies arrested a man after a urine test showed he had recently consumed alcohol. A judge had ordered the man to refrain from alcohol after beingconvicted of Driving Under the Influence and ordered to pay $2,671, which he had not paid.

PHANTOM LANDLORD
12 a.m. — 6600 block of Midnight Pass Road. Suspicious Incident. A couple was unable to provide evidence, but reported that their former landlord was sending them harassing text messages. They said the landlord had also broken into their residence, but hadn’t taken anything.

Nov. 9
KEEP ON TRUCKIN’
2:19 a.m. — 6500 Midnight Pass Road.
Civil Disturbance. A man left a restaurant in a truck that he and his ex-girlfriend owned while she was in the bathroom. The woman told deputies she had brokeup with the man the previous week and moved to another city.

Nov. 11
PIN-POINT ACCURACY
12 a.m. — 1200 block of Peppertree Drive.
Residential Burglary. A woman noticed two open dresser drawers at her grandfather’s house and thought it seemed suspicious. She reported missing an $8,000 white diamond brooch and told deputies she suspected a maintenance worker took the pin because nothing else was missing.

STICKS AND STONES
11:36 p.m. — 900 block of Beach Road. Violation of Probation. Deputies, investigating a possible fight, arrested a man who was yelling curse words. He said someone had stolen his money, and deputies took him to the ground when he called them names and tried to pull away. The man was on probation for dealing drugs.

Nov. 12
BOW TO YOUR SENSEI
2 a.m. — 5100 block of Ocean Boulevard.
Disorderly Intoxication. A bouncer kicked a man out of the bar for making unwanted sexual advances toward two women. The man then walked down a back alley and back into the bar and began lunging at patrons. The bouncer applied a front kick to the man’s leg to defend himself before deputies arrived.

WINDOW SHOPPING
12:25 p.m. — 5600 block of Beach Way. Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling. A man lounging by his pool heard a crash and discovered his window was broken when he returned to his condo. He told deputies that he saw a balding man in his 50s fleeing the scene.

Nov. 13
PROCRASTINATING COMPLAINANT
10:27 a.m. — 900 block of Beach Road.
Petit Theft. A woman filed a report that her wallet and $120 cash were taken from the beach while her belongings were unattended. The crime occurred two weeks prior to her report.
