Lakewood Ranch remains No. 1 in sales in mid-year survey

Lakewood Ranch continues to lead in sales among all the nation's multigenerational, master-planned communities.

RCLCO Real Estate Consulting released its Mid-Year 2026 Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities list Thursday, and Lakewood Ranch ranked No. 1 in the multigenerational division with 1,035 sales at mid-year. Lakewood Ranch continued to outperform national and regional trends. 

Lakewood Ranch, which was No. 2 overall behind The Villages' 1,800 senior-community sales, has held that multigenerational standing for eight consecutive years. The four top in overall sales all were from Florida, in The Villages, Lakewood Ranch, Wellen Park (Venice) with 727 sales, and Babcock Ranch (Fort Myers) with 659 sales.

“In uncertain markets, proven places stand apart,” said Karl Pischke, the principal for RCLCO, in a press release. “Lakewood Ranch is a trusted, high-performing community with the planning discipline, lifestyle infrastructure, and long-term momentum to give buyers confidence in their decision.”

Lakewood Ranch has eight villages with new areas ramping up in its eastern section along with villages expected to come on-line in late 2026 and throughout 2027. 

Main Street at Lakewood Ranch and Waterside Place offer a combined 68 restaurants and shops, which helps to strengthen the community appeal.
