+ Sarasota Memorial announces scholarships
Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary volunteer organization has awarded college scholarships to six local high school students who plan to pursue careers in health care.

The G. Duncan Finlay Health Careers Scholarships, named after former Sarasota Memorial CEO G. Duncan Finlay, will contribute $10,000 to each student over four years.

Scholarships winners for this year are: Thai Lam, Molly Kagarise and Michael Seyfried, all of Venice High School; Andrea Munsell and Thomas Richards, both of North Port High School; and Morgan Wallace, of Pine View School.
