White male robs 7-11 on Beneva Road

On Monday, at about 10:37 p.m., a white male, 30-40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, entered the 7-11 store on 2745 Beneva Road. The suspect demanded money from the register, implying that he had a weapon.

The suspect was wearing a white baseball hat with a blue "M" on the front, a yellow shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a white cloth covering his face.  He also had a white bandage wrap on the upper portion of his left forearm. He was last seen fleeing to the East in the parking lot located on the corner of Beneva and Webber Street

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Section is actively investigating this robbery.
