Nov. 22
INTERNET INSTIGATOR
12 a.m. — 6300 block of Midnight Cove.
Suspicious Incident. An eBay user sent emails that implied he was going to have intercourse with another user’s wife. The man who received the messages has had problems with the sender in the past.

PILFERED POCKETBOOK
12:01 a.m. — 5100 block of Ocean Boulevard. Petit Theft. A woman placed her wallet beneath a barstool at a nightclub and could not find it when she was leaving. She discovered fraudulent charges on her credit cards.


WHEN A CRAVING HITS
1:17 a.m. — Intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Canal Road. Disorderly Conduct. A drunken man began harassing a group of pedestrians trying to cross the street because they didn’t give him a cigarette.


HOTHEADED BOYFRIEND
2:03 a.m. — 5100 block of Ocean Boulevard. Resisting with Violence. A man became irate when he couldn’t find his girlfriend in a nightclub crowd and pushed a bouncer who tried to calm him. Deputies on horses surrounded the man outside the club and arrested him after he tried to head butt an officer.

WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE
2:44 a.m. — 500 block of Beach Road. Battery. Deputies found a man bleeding from the mouth and forehead by a roadway. The man told officers one of his friends had punched him, but he didn’t remember which one.

NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT
2:50 a.m. — 5200 block of Ocean Boulevard. Suspicious Incident. A man flagged down a deputy to report a battery. He pointed to the suspect, who ran away when the officer approached him. The deputy could not find the suspect, and the victim refused emergency care. The man asked for an ambulance a short time later.

Nov. 25
THE SMOKING GUN
10 a.m. — 4100 block of Roberts Point Circle.
Theft. A man reported to deputies that his former housekeeper stole bottles of wine, sunglasses and a pistol from his residence. He filed the complaint after learning neighbors had fired the woman for similar incidents.

CREDIT CARD CAPER
6:20 p.m. — Intersection of Beach Road and Ocean Boulevard. Burglary of a Vehicle. After returning from the beach, a man noticed the back door of his truck was pried open and several of his credit cards were missing. He told deputies two men “hopped into a car and took off” when they saw him. He couldn’t recall what the men looked like.

Nov. 27
THERE FOR THE TAKING
10 a.m. — 6200 block of Midnight Pass Road.
Grand Theft. A man reported his bicycle was stolen. He told deputies he hadn’t secured the $350 bicycle “by any means.”
