Commission to host planning work session

Manatee County commissioners and members of the Planning Commission will meet Tuesday to discuss updates to county codes and its growth plan, among other topics.

The special work session will start at 9 a.m., May 17 at the Manatee Room on the fourth floor of the county's administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

Discussion items include coastal high hazard area/coastal evacuation area map changes, industrial land development regulations, an update on future growth, land development code rewrite update and a library long range plan update.
