Asian culture fest features lion dance

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will hosts its fifth annual Asian Cultural Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 27 and Feb. 28.

The festival will include ikebana demonstrations, a bonsai show and sale, martial arts, sumi-e brush painting and a kimono exhibit. Visitors are invited to participate in tours of the gardens’ collection of Asian sculpture, and children can celebrate the Year of the Tiger by working on a variety of projects. Admission fee is $5 to $17.
