Sarasota predicts snow at Friday stroll

Southside Village will host its annual Holiday Stroll from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3.

Gather with friends and family while ringing in the holiday season and enjoying live entertainment, shopping and a special visit from Santa Claus, available for photographs inside Comerica Bank. Gecko’s Grill and Pub will even have a mountain of snow on which kids may slide, in addition to face painting.

Free parking is available at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital parking garage, and a golf cart shuttle will provide transportation to Osprey Avenue during the event. A display of holiday lights takes place at 7 p.m.
