More than 50 people with their pets gathered at St. Boniface Episcopal Church early Saturday for the annual Service for the Blessing of the Animals.Â
All members of the community and animals were welcomed for the service that took place in the outdoor chapel to accommodate the guests. Some of the animals in attendance were dogs of varying sizes, an owl, a hawk and two rats named Leia and Lady Godiva.Â
