Amidst the shelves of coffee mugs, racks of purses and side table consignments on June 7 was the usual bustle of the nonprofit The Woman's Exchange, but it was even more packed with people. The annual awards ceremony celebrated a year of hard work raising funds via consignment that help support local art students, groups and organizations like it has been doing since 1962. It celebrated giving $330,000 in grants and scholarships with a party at its own facility catered by Cafe L'Eurpoe with entertainment from local artists.
