Carson, a South Philadelphia native, lives in Sarasota with his son, Charles. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II and has been part of the JFCS Senior Outreach Services Program for eight years. While eating his chocolate cake, one of his favorite flavors, Carson shared his secret to living so long: "Live life fully."
