Chief Peter Abbott was suspended for two weeks without pay for his role in the investigation of the videotaped kicking of a handcuffed suspect. The officer who kicked the suspect was fired.

A caller reported that a dog had been constantly barking in an adjacent apartment. The caller told officers that the apartment in which the dog was housed also held the circuit breakers for the entire building and said he believed it was illegal for a dog to be in there.
