The sale runs to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14. Brides Against Breast Cancer will donate $2 million this year to Center for Building Hope.

Firefighters and police officers rolled up their sleeves Saturday, June 13, at Westfield Southgate Mall for the 8th annual Boots vs Badges campaign to donate blood to Suncoast Community Blood Bank. The goal is to raise 300 pints of blood during the friendly competition between officers and firefighters July 13 to 27. Community members choose who they want to donate for. 'We need to take care of our full time residence,' said Mayor Shannon Snyder who donated blood for Badges after being with the sheriff's office for 25 years.
