"Holiday Happenings" at Temple Beth Israel on Sunday, Nov. 7 attracted an enthusiastic crowd of shoppers. A highlight of the afternoon was a song and dance performance by students of the Goldie Feldman Academy. The Beth Israel Women organized the event.

VIDEO: Historical Society cruises Sarasota via Le Barge

Featuring narration by John McCarthy, history buff and director of Sarasota County Parks and Recreation, the Historical Society of Sarasota cruised Sarasota Bay Sunday aboard the Le Barge. The cruise, now in its 18th year, was dedicated to Bertha Palmer and Owen Burns, who arrived to Sarasota 100 years ago, in 1910.

Wandall foundation hosts Family Fun Night

From inflatable obstacle courses and cotton candy to face painting and hot dogs, the Mark Wandall Foundation Family Fun Night featured a plethora of fun Nov. 5 at Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch. All proceeds from the event benefited Safety Saves Lives and SPARCC.
