The Manatee Chamber of Commerce held its 48th Annual Dinner and Membership Appreciation Ceremony Jan. 25 at the Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch. Members and their guests enjoyed dinner, a silent auction, musical entertainment by Daniel Fugazzotto and an awards presentation.

Concession, Bistro offer 'culinary carnival'

The Concession Golf Club and the Beach Bistro Culinary joined forces to raise money for the All Children's Hospital Foundation and the Aldo Castaneda Foundation with the Culinary Winter Carnival golf and dining event Jan. 21-22. Participants enjoyed a variety of golfing opportunities, guided fishing excursions and an assortment of food some from of the area's finest chefs as part of the festivities.
