Who let the pugs out? The Sarasota Humane Society for its 15th annual pug parade on March 17. Dogs garbed in their best green, leprechauns disguised as pugs and vice-versa, and even a pug cowboy strutted the circle for a costume contest and fundraiser.

There was green beer, gig dancing and bagpipe playing at Lynches Pub and Grub for Saint Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 17. Starting shortly after they opened for business, the pub was packed with the Irish and those pretending to be. Traditional corned beef and Sheppard's pie was served while dancers from Sarasota Irish Dance Academy performed.
