The Garden Club met to make flower arrangements at Sherry Linhart's home on Monday, Nov. 19. Linhart and Jane Boehme provided leaves from their own gardens and purchased flowers from Whole Foods. Members brought vases and baskets to create beautiful flower arrangements for their homes.

Riverview High School hosted the world premier of Stars to Starfish Saturday, Nov. 17 in the high school's planetarium. Stars to Starfish is a 20 minute film which gives a basic overview of space and how it correlates with the ocean. It shows why Earth is unique and how all life originated in the ocean. After the show the public visited the aqua dome where kids and adults saw fish and held starfish.
