Gulf view returns

A landscaping crew began cutting the sea grapes in front of the Twin Shores and Gulfshore of Longboat Key mobile-home parks Monday, Nov. 2. Residents and motorists anticipate the end of October each year, because they get their view of the Gulf of Mexico back. The sea grapes grow tall each summer during sea-turtle nesting season, which runs from May 31 through the end of October.
