The Longboat Key Center for the Arts celebrated 60 years of creativity, culture and community on Friday, Nov. 30 at the center. In 1952 the center started as a vision amongst friends that has grown to be a respectable art center for the community. 'Creativity simply put is looking at something differently,' said Director Jane Buckman. Over 100 people attended the anniversary where they admired the art and enjoyed the evening with friends.
