April 1 Lost in translation 1:41 p.m. -- 10 block of Winslow Place. Parking Violation. A man reported that a landscape crew parked on the shoulder of the road in front of his house. Police called the landscape company's office to let them know the crew, whose members did not speak English, could not park on the grass.

Key author perfects his play on words

Writing has been his hobby as long as Longboat Key resident Lester Ageloff can remember. He has written numerous short stories, articles and three novels. Recently, his neighbors at The Islander Club were introduced to his talent.
