Public considers business property-tax relief

For the last three weeks, the East County Observer has previewed the first ballot item on the June 18 special election referendum - the vote on a half-percent sales tax increase to pay for indigent health care. Now, we look at the second ballot question: a vote on providing ad valorem tax exemptions for businesses.
