Imagine students enjoy fall fun

Students at The Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch celebrated the change in season with their 3rd annual Fall Festival Nov. 6. Students enjoyed face painting, bounce houses, carnival-style games, music and refreshments, among other activities.

A little more than a dozen residents gathered at San Marco Plaza Nov. 6 for the Veterans Walk of Honor and clothesline art show. Residents bundled up and walked two miles up to Main Street and back in support of our local veterans.

McNeal Elementary School students braved the chilly weather Nov. 5, as they spent part of the day outside during the school's 3rd annual Walkathon. In addition to raising more than $13,600 for the school, students enjoyed music, refreshments and a catapult launch, among other activities.

Wandall foundation hosts Family Fun Night

From inflatable obstacle courses and cotton candy to face painting and hot dogs, the Mark Wandall Foundation Family Fun Night featured a plethora of fun Nov. 5 at Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch. All proceeds from the event benefited Safety Saves Lives and SPARCC.

The series by Patrick Carman has been a hit with students at Braden River Middle School for the last year.
