Distant relatives of Mable Ringling visit The Ringling

This week, four great nieces and nephews of Mable Ringling are in town from New Mexico to visit The Ringling and Sarasota. Mable Burton Ringling was one of five daughters and never had any children. One of her sisters was Dulcy Burton Schueler.

During World War II the monuments men and women, were the group of people that rescued and recovered the artwork Hitler and the Nazis pillaged. Author Robert Edsel told their story in his book 'Monuments Men.' The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presented the author Monday, March 10 at Riverview High School to speak about his work as part of their People of the Book series.
