A home on Idle Lane tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Dennis and Melissa Jensen, trustees, of Highwood, Illinois, sold the home at 1601 Idle Lane to Michael and Debra Thomas, of Sarasota, for $3.5 million. Built in 1958, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,189 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,075,000 in 2020.


 

Sarasota

The Savoy on Palm

Charles and Heloisa Jennings, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 301 condominium at 401 S. Palm Ave. to David Holstein, trustee, of Sarasota, for $2.7 million. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,172 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.7 million in 2014.


Mark Sarasota

Patrick and Antoinette McTernan sold their Unit 615 condominium at 111 S. Pineapple Ave. to Cheryl Town, trustee, of Sarasota, for $2.2 million. Built in 2019, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,122 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,350,600 in 2019.


Old Oaks

Rosemarie Gschwendtner and Dally Rudicel, trustees, of Newton, Massachusetts, sold the home at 924 Indian Beach Drive to Stephen Manrose, of Sarasota, for $2.2 million. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,974 square feet of living area. It sold for $720,000 in 2018.


The Condominium on the Bay

Rhonda Penn and Sharon Penn, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1008 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Leisa Deutsch, of Sarasota, for $1,525,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,642 square feet of living area. It sold for $492,700 in 2009.


Sarasota Bay Club

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 621 condominium at 1299 Tamiami Trail to Valerie Gill, of Sarasota, for $1,475,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,052 square feet of living area. It sold for $901,900 in January.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1106 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Maria Georgiev, of Sarasota, for $1,275,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,546 square feet of living area. It sold for $851,000 in 2019.


Rivo at Ringling

J. Robert and Maria Thacker, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 901 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Suzanne Erickson, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1.15 million. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,808 square feet of living area. It sold for $590,000 in 2016.


Sunset Towers

Jonathan Leven, of Atlanta, sold his Unit 607 condominium at 11 Sunset Drive to Stephen George Spurr and Rita Ohannessian, of Sarasota, for $1,125,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,420 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.01 million in 2023.


Town of Sarasota

Michael and Deborah Bangser, of Bloomfield, Connecticut, sold their home at 200 Cocoanut Ave. #4 to Donna Beck, of Sarasota, for $975,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,554 square feet of living area. It sold for $585,000 in 2014.


Desota Park

Caroline Dunn sold the home at 1879 Hibiscus St. to Equine Real Estate LLC for $837,500. Built in 1950, it has two bedrooms, one bedroom and 978 square feet of living area. It sold for $255,000 in 2008.


Schooner Bay

Thomas Gordon and Melanie Saunooke, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 6732 condominium at 6732 Schooner Bay Circle to Julie Napolitano, of Sarasota, for $765,000. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,738 square feet of living area. It sold for $565,000 in 2021.


Phillippi Landings

Jean Robin Murphy sold the Unit 2101 condominium at 1916 Monte Carlo Drive to Karen and Raymond O’Toole for $690,000. Built in 2022, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,778 square feet of living area. It sold for $513,000 in 2022.


Gulf Gate Woods

Benjamin Franklin McGill and Amanda Jeanne McGill sold their home at 2906 Tuckerstown Drive to Leslie Gray, of Sarasota, for $649,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,773 square feet of living area. It sold for $615,000 in 2022.


Rustic Lodge

Martin Kunkel and Deborah Gillett, of Aurora, Illinois, sold their home at 2522 Temple St. to Trent Andrew Bowers and Christine Girod Bowers, of Sarasota, for $567,500. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,204 square feet of living area. It sold for $259,900 in 2017.


Loma Linda Park

Carter Sanderford sold his home at 2205 Floyd St. to David and Lara Srour, of Sarasota, for $565,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,214 square feet of living area. It sold for $78,500 in 2008. 


Central Heights

Dane Spencer, of Portland, Oregon, sold two properties at 2427 Walker Circle to Fred Gerigery, trustee, of Sarasota, for $560,000. The first property was built in 1942 and has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,140 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1959 and has one bedroom, one bath and 816 square feet of living area. They sold for $175,000 in 2013.


Paver Park Estates

Mary and Brian Guidroz, of Greenville, South Carolina, sold their home at 2667 Sydelle St. to Florentino Bogen Velarde and Emily Crinage, of New York City, for $550,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,681 square feet of living area. It sold for $204,500 in 2015.

Marc Rose and Paula Frey, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 209 condominium at 1601 Pelican Pointe Drive to Brian and Laura Carter, of Leesburg, Indiana, for $545,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It sold for $230,000 in 2014.


Central Park

Elizabeth Wilcox sold her Unit 206 condominium at 825 S. Osprey Ave. to Arlan and Judy Akerlind, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It sold for $239,000 in 2017.


The Landings South

David and Sharon Kenworthy, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 102 condominium at 5217 Heron Way to Fred Miller, trustee, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,564 square feet of living area. It sold for $450,000 in 2021.


Siesta Key

Siesta’s Bayside

642 Waterside LLC sold the home at 642 Waterside Way to Ellen Spear, trustee, of Sarasota, for $3 million. Built in 1967, it has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,349 square feet of living area. It sold for $3.2 million in 2022.


Siesta Properties

Adam and Rose Bright, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 7309 Pine Needle Road to Kathleen Marie Patrick, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1.9 million. The first property was built in 1953 and has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool and 5,600 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 2000 and has one bedroom, one bath and 875 square feet of living area. They sold for $967,500 in 2002. 


Turtle Bay

Matthew and Gretchen Sauer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 607-A condominium at 8701 Midnight Pass Road to Brent Kirby and Jaycee Kirby, trustees, of Mooresville, North Carolina, for $1.85 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,922 square feet of living area. It sold for $900,000 in 2023.


Bay Island Park

Christopher and Janelle Scott, of Morrill, Maine, sold their home at 3472 Anglin Drive to Dwayne and Tiffany Martin, of Newmanstown, Pennsylvania, for $1,267,800. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,446 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,175,000 in 2022.


Revised Siesta

Thomas and Susan Seal, of Prospect, Kentucky, sold their home at 3406 Higel Ave. to Jenna Leigh Fabick, of Sarasota, for $1.25 million. Built in 1920, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,630 square feet of living area. It sold for $640,000 in 2021.


Whispering Sands

Ruth Beverly Deterding, trustee, sold the Unit 703 condominium at 20 Whispering Sands Drive to Daniel Morrison, trustee, of Union, Michigan, for $900,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It sold for $125,000 in 1986.

Harbor Towers Yacht Racquet Club

Douglas and Rorie Schweickert, of Peru, Illinois, sold their Unit 519 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Jeffrey and Kelly Whelan, of Cincinnati, for $730,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,404 square feet of living area. It sold for $565,000 in 2021.


Tortuga Beach

Robert Wehler, trustee, of Denver, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 8730 Midnight Pass Road to Jacqueline and Wayne Schulte, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, for $682,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,012 square feet of living area. It sold for $595,000 in 2021.


White Sands Village

Thomas Ceccarini sold the Unit 201 condominium at 5673 Midnight Pass Road to Jeff McBain, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, for $515,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,012 square feet of living area. It sold for $357,500 in 2021.

Andres and Marguerite Martinez, of Perrysburg, Ohio, sold their home at 8115 Deerbrook Circle to 966016 Alberta Ltd. for $900,000. Built in 1999, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,410 square feet of living area. It sold for $560,000 in 2019. 

Ehab and Vicki Michael sold their home at 5124 Ridgelake Place to Hollace Litt-Schirtzer, of Sarasota, for $749,000. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,074 square feet of living area. It sold for $313,500 in 2014.


Esplanade on Palmer Ranch

Scott and Marcia Parrill, trustees, of Loudon, Tennessee, sold the home at 5333 Bartolomeo St. to Pamela Boker, of Sarasota, for $875,000. Built in 2022, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,918 square feet of living area. It sold for $560,300 in 2022.


Hamptons

James and Alice Harnes, of Venice, sold their home at 5026 Flagstone Drive to Douglas and Wendy Dunlevy, of Sarasota, for $695,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,829 square feet of living area. It sold for $353,000 in 2019.


Villas at Deer Creek

Karen Rockefeller sold the home at 8022 Bobcat Circle to Charles and Carolyn Untz, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1994, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,842 square feet of living area. It sold for $360,000 in 2015.


Villa D’Este

Ruth Virginia Russell and Patricia Denise Setser, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4531 Las Brisas Lane to Tiffany Wayne Warren and Andrea Urbas, trustees, of Sarasota, for $540,000. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,227 square feet of living area. It sold for $250,000 in 2013.


Villagewalk

Alan and Barbara Ebersole, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5807 Helicon Place to Ruth Virginia Russell and Patricia Denise Setser, of Sarasota, for $530,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,534 square feet of living area. It sold for $335,000 in 2017.
