Applications for its 2024-25 scholarship program are now being accepted by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.

The annual program assists students of all ages in pursuing higher education at accredited two- and four-year colleges, universities or technical schools. Applicants must plan to attend a qualifying postsecondary institution during the 2024-25 academic year.

“Together with our donors, we have invested more than $10.8 million to promising students through scholarships, ensuring that our region prepares the skilled workforce we need for the future,” said GCCF President and CEO Phillip Lanham in a news release.

Gulf Coast awards scholarships from more than 60 scholarship funds it administers, including many established by donors to support particular fields of study or assist students from specific schools or communities. Candidates may complete a single application to be considered for all scholarship opportunities for which they qualify.

Applicants may visit GulfCoastCF.org/scholarships to review requirements and complete the online application. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, April 3. Scholarship awards will be announced in late spring.

Last year, the foundation awarded 563 scholarships totaling more than $720,000.
