Temple Emanu-El celebrates Dr. Seuss

Students channeled their inner red fish (and blue fish) for Temple Emanu-El's Early Learning Center's celebration of Dr. Seuss.

Silliness was the order of the day March 9 at Temple Emanu-El's Early Learning Center.

Students dressed in red blue out fits in honor or Dr. Seuss's "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" and participated in Dr. Seuss themed activities after a reading of the classic children's book.

Children painted their red fish and blue fish, fished with pretzel and cream cheese fishing rods and got their faces painted in the image of one of the Dr. Seuss's most classic characters — the Cat in the Hat.

By the end of the lesson, many children were sporting little pink and black noses and whiskers of their own.
