Ancient Oak in Lakewood Ranch set to close

Club makes final plans as site is to be developed.

The Ancient Oak Gun Club in Lakewood Ranch is set to close on June 30.

According to an Ancient Oak release on Friday, the property will "revert to agricultural uses until future development plans are finalized."

Members will receive pro-rated refunds for members, gift certificates and pre-paid targets from 9 a.m. until noon July 10-14.
