Paul Dezzi and Dave Bullock visit Longboat Republicans

The fire chief and town manager spoke to the club on Feb. 22.

The Republican Club of Longboat Key had some local visitors on Feb. 22.

Longboat Key Fire Chief Paul Dezzi and Town Manager Dave Bullock spoke to the club about local issues including taxes, The Colony, emergency medical services and traffic.

They spoke about the amount of property taxes that go to the town versus county and school district, explained various points of The Colony referendum, summarized efforts to address short-term traffic fixes, explained ambulatory services and transport times to hospitals and spoke about a new program the town is starting for recently discharged patients.
