With the weather getting warmer, farewell season arrives on Longboat Key.
Residents of Fairway Bay gathered for a sunset barbeque on April 8 at Bay Isles Beach Club to say good-bye to the snowbirds soon heading back to the North. About 65 people gathered to enjoy cocktails and appetizers before feasting on a buffet catered by Roadside Rib Shack.
