1 — Lakewood Ranch senior Elise Spiller was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sarasota-Manatee Girls Basketball All-Star Game March 26. 

2 — Sophomore pitcher Kailey Christian allowed four hits, two walks and no earned runs while striking out five in the Lakewood Ranch softball team’s 6-1 victory against previously undefeated Bartow March 26. 

3 — Lakewood Ranch senior Olivia Ogles finished third in the long jump at the FSU Relays March 25 with a mark of 17 feet, 1 inch. 

4 — ODA pitcher Duncan Cappar notched his sixth win of the season after leading the Thunder baseball team to a 6-2 district victory over St. Petersburg Catholic March 23. 

5 — ODA’s M’Balia Bangoura and Sydney Sforzo won both their No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches, respectively, before teaming up to win their No. 1 doubles match during the Thunder’s match against Riverview March 24.
