Manatee Planning Commission sees high density projects

The Manatee County Planning Commission will consider two items Thursday, including an a site plan amendment for a 19 acre property in Parrish and a four-acre property in west Bradenton.

For the Parrish property, the owner is requesting to change the future land use from office to a mix of residential, office and retail and residential with 12 units per acre.

Allison-Gause, agent for the owner of the four-acre site, is requesting a change from planned development residential to residential multi-family, which would bring allowed density to nine units per acre.

The board meets at 9 a.m. at the county administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
