University Town Center lights up for holidays

University Town Center area will light up for the holidays tonight with millions of lights.

The Shoppes at University Town center will be especially bright from 6 to 8 p.m. when the plazas at UTC celebrate this year’s Festival of Lights with activities, shopping and a free fireworks displace adjacent to Dillard’s at The Mall at UTC. 

During the event, children will be treated to pictures with Santa, balloons and giveaways and games. Fireworks will conclude the event.

The Shoppes is located at the northeast corner of University Parkway and Cooper Creek Boulevard. It is home to HomeGoods, Nordstrom Rack, Total Wine and other major retailers.
