The Ringling hosted its last Ringling Underground of 2015 with its trademark eclectic mix of music and local art. The Statue of David stage was rocked out by the indie-folk duo and engaged couple Justin Layman and Sara Nelms; the confessional folk band from Gainesville Wax Wings, which had to be the first band in Ringling Underground history with a cello, violin and tuba performing onstage; and the night closed with Sarasota favorites Amythyst Kiah & Her Chest of Glass from Johnson City, Tenn. performing a mix of alternative rock and blues. Featured visual art came from the Tampa alternative art gallery Tempus Projects, which featured video projection fixtures and other installations from Christina Humphries, Gigi Lage, Justin Myers, Noelle Mason, Santiago Echeverry, Kevin Brophy, Kurt Piazza and Daniela Mora.
