Six Palm-Aire residents donned classy-casual haute couture for this year's La Belle Femme fashion show.
Hosted by Dodie Shuert and Candice Frandsen, the show held Friday, Nov. 6, featured clothing and accessories available at Daily Cotton in Sarasota. The Palm-Aire Women's Club hosts the luncheon at the country club each year to help raise funds for its scholarships. Two scholarship recipients, Brandon Guzman and Michael Evans with the State College of Florida, attended the show as ushers for the models to help them on and off the runway.
Be-Be Hansen, a former Palm-Aire resident and honorary member of the club, attended the luncheon for the first time as a viewer — until last year, when she moved to North Port, she took photos for the show.
"Everything was casual, affordable and pretty — things I would wear," she said.
