Boats light up Sarasota Bay for parade of lights

The 30th annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade brings out residents for night of lights.

Residents crowded Bayfront Park for the chance to watch the 30th annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights Saturday, Dec. 12. 

Boats decked for the holidays with lights and music launched from City Island and floated along the Sarasota Bayfront starting near the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The finish line for the parade was at the judging area.
