Bow ties and brews are the theme of the Bow Tie Challenge event scheduled for Sunday at JDub's Brewing Company.

A partnership between Cat Depot and JDub's Brewing Company brought about the event that will run from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is set to celebrate National Bow Tie Day, a favorite of Cat Depot "spokescat" Bow-Tie who has a growing collection of bow ties.

A specialty brew will be served in honor of the event and Bow-Tie. Guests who participate and attend wearing a bow tie will receive $1 off their first beer purchase. There will also be games, kittens for adoption and a food truck.
