Longboat Kiwanis member Woody Wolverton, of Stifel Financial Corp., has become platinum level sponsor for the club’s Gourmet Lawn Party Dec. 6 at the Longboat Key Club.

Wolverton, a former Longboat Kiwanis president and member of the club for 25-years, has joined three others as $5,000 platinum level sponsors for the lawn party. Along with Stifel Financial Corp., other platinum sponsors include Team Renick Real Estate Services, The Observer Group and the Resort at Longboat Key Club.

Woody’s wife, Sue Wolverton, also helped contribute gold level sponsorship for $2,500 from Coldwell Banker.

“The Wolverton’s continuing support of our signature event is incredible,” said Michel Garey, owner of the Lazy Lobster of Longboat Key and the Kiwanis Club’s chairperson for the event.

Garey added that Plymouth Harbor committed Sept. 29 to a gold level sponsorship and Ascentia Development Group committed to a silver package, moving the lawn party much closer to its goal of $26,000 in paid sponsorships for this years event.
