Canine country club opens for business

East County resident and dog lover Heather Perry watched as dogs of all sizes and varieties wiggled in excitement while attending the grand opening of her new business — the Canine Ranch Country Club — Oct. 30.

Dogs and their owners tested out play areas, while learning more about the club and socializing with other prospective members. 

"We're excited about the response from Lakewood Ranch," Perry said.

The club, which offers dog grooming, doga (dog yoga), a dog swimming pool, a member's lounge and classes and seminars and other offerings and amenities, is located at 5557 Lorraine Road, Lakewood Ranch.
