He took a bite out the apple, and he had no idea how it would affect his future.
Jeremy Keller had always known his wife, Brittany, wished she had a candy apple 1965 Ford Mustang. So last year, he found and purchased one, just the right color, for her.
Seeing her joy in driving her dream car, Jeremy Keller started to think about his own dream car.
"I've always wanted a Ferrari," said Keller, the CEO and founder of Prestige Planning wealth services in Lakewood Ranch. "And I was at a point in my life where I could get one."
He started to think about other car enthusiasts who might not be driving their dream car because they didn't have the time, or the space, or energy to go find one.
When he and Brittany went on a "retreat" to the Blue Ridge Mountains in July 2025, they started talking about what their future would hold for them. At 41, and having experienced success in the business world, Jeremy Keller said they turned off all the electronics and dreamed about where they were going.
They talked about starting a country club for car enthusiasts, where he could be around members who loved cars as much as he did.
"I've always loved cars," Keller said. "I've had a passion for them. I loved the way they run, the way they work."
In January, the Kellers pulled the trigger on Prestige Auto Experiences. They began putting together a private club built around "exotic cars and remarkable people."
"There are a lot of people out there who would love to experience classic and exotic cars, but without the cost of owning them or the maintenance," Jeremy Keller said.
He started the idea he said could be compared to a boat club. He would purchase exotic, classic and luxury cars and would give members of the club access to them. There would be tiers of membership that would determine how many times a week, or month, that the member would have access to the cars.
Membership would start with a $5,000 initiation fee and go up from there depending on the level of membership. Monthly fees started at $600 a month.
Jeremy Keller said he was finishing the buildout of the clubhouse at 4206 Concept Court, Lakewood Ranch. The clubhouse would include race car and golf simulators, pool and poker tables, large screen TVs, and a bar. Members would have 24/7 access to the facility and would receive their own code for entrance.
The club will "top out" at 50 to 60 members and already has five members signed up even though the doors won't open until the second week of August.
Jeremy Keller, 41, has seven classic and exotic cars at the facility with another scheduled to arrive in a week.
He said he won't have any trouble filling his membership role.
"The car community here is huge," he said. "We found a need."
The club is going to have three employees in General Manager JT Albritton, Director of Member Experience Staci Roberts, and a yet-to-be-hired employee to oversee the cars, show the members how to use them, and to clean the vehicles.
Keller's hope is to open more clubs in the region, around the state, and beyond and then rotate the vehicles to give members more choices.
Here is a look at the cars for members' use:
"It is unique," Keller said. "That car is a show stopper. The 1965 Shelby Cobra was featured in the film 'Ford v Ferrari.' It also has been a dream car of mine. It definitely is different."
A Car and Driver review said that the 1965 Shelby Cobra "is an iconic American sports car blending a lightweight British AC Ace chassis with a powerful Ford V8 engine. Original models command multi-million dollar values, while popular replicas and continuation cars offer similar thrills at a fraction of the cost."
"It is just iconic," Keller said. "A real sexy look. It's mostly about the drive and the fact there is nothing like it, and the way it handles. It is Italian greatness."
Car and Driver noted, "With a mid-mounted, twin-turbo 3.9-liter V-8, the 488GTB generates a sonorous wail and ferocious acceleration all the way to 8,000 rpm, where it makes 661 horsepower. We estimate it's capable of a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.0 seconds."
"This is the best well-kept secret," Keller said. "It probably gets more attention because of the look, and it looks like a half million dollar car, but it isn't. It is a great way to get into the exotic car world."
Car and Driver said, "A supercharged V-6 pumping out 400 ponies is standard and can be mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is optional and also makes 400 horsepower."
"It is a very underrated exotic car with tons of horsepower," Keller said. "It is the joy of luxury and sport with an amazing sound."
Car and Driver noted, "it was created by AMG, the in-house speed shop of Mercedes, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT and GT C are the luxury brand's answer to the Porsche 911, while the track-focused GT R and GT R Pro rival the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS. Gorgeously curvaceous and brutally quick, with zero-to-60-mph times of less than 3.5 seconds."
"It's a Porsche and everyone wants to drive a Porsche," Keller said.
Car and Driver noted, "The sports car has been a benchmark for performance driving for decades, and it’s not likely to change. That’s because over the years the 911’s formula has evolved slowly, allowing Porsche’s engineers to create something truly timeless. The 2024 Porsche 911 has a turbocharged flat-six engine that hangs off the back, aft of the rear axle, just as it did in the 1964 original. Except now, it can be had with an output as high as 473 horsepower."
"My wife's car," Keller said. "This is a great experience car, and a great photo shoot car for date night."
The car has been described as stylish and classic with a timeless design.
"We have sports cars, and we have this super nice luxury vehicle," Keller said. "What if you are bringing another couple?"
Car and Driver notes, "If you're looking for a vehicle that combines off-road capability, luxury accommodations, and the status of an upper-crust image something from Land Rover's top-shelf Range Rover lineup should do just fine."
"People see this car and they want to join (the club)," Keller said. "It's got a lot of power, an exotic super car."
Car and Driver said, "The Huracan keeps your heart rate from fully redlining by being just as precise and predictable as it is explosive. This car is fast everywhere, though our test gear confirmed that this Huracan is freakishly quick in a straight line. We ripped to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and burst through the quarter-mile in 10.4 seconds at 135 mph."
