Home in Bay Island Shores sells for $3.6 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 15 and Sept. 19.

A home in Bay Island Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Charles Mahan sold the home at 778 Siesta Drive to TJM Ranch LP for $3.6 million. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 6,395 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.8 million in 2006.

SARASOTA
The Landings
Michael and Sarah Barron, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1419 Peregrine Point Drive to Carol Cotner and John Alogna, trustees, of Sarasota, for $2.9 million. Built in 1984, it has five bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 6,579 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,046,500 in 2004.

Granada
Michael and Melissa Long, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3601 Flores Ave. to Patsy Taylor, of Sarasota, for $685,000. Built in 1929, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,031 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $515,000 in 2008.

Avondale
James and Cheri Desarno sold their home at 1108 Brewer Place to Gary and Kathleen Bockhold, of Sarasota, for $615,000. Built in 1950, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,703 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $525,000 in 2012.

Patricia McGarry, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 904 condominium at 1350 Main St. to CP Stamford Properties LLC for $610,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $445,000 in 2011.

Sandra and Randy Lawrence sold their home at 1850 Webber St. to Manasota Solve Inc. for $570,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,774 square feet of living area.

Condominium on the Bay
Laurie Lachowitzer and Wyona Lachowitzer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 907 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Elizabeth Newman, of Sarasota, for $420,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2000.

Nancy Heissenbuttel and Henry Heissenbuttel, trustees, of Boonton Township, N.J., sold the Unit 701 condominium at 11 Sunset Drive to John and Tess Hoey, of Sarasota, for $417,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,389 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $133,000 in 1991.

Michael Anderson, of La Grange, Ga., John Anderson, Francis Anderson, Cass Anderson and Heidi Conner, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1781 Spring Creek Drive to Marcus and Pamela Anast, of Sarasota, for $370,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,488 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $25,000 in 1972.

Vivienne Salamon sold the Unit 403 condominium at 5591 Cannes Circle to Jerome Stricker, trustee, of Covington, Ky., for $365,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,706 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2008.

Michael and Jessica Haines, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2611 Espanola Ave. to Daniel and Nicole Starostecki, of Sarasota, for $305,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,053 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $172,000 in 2012.

K.G.J. Properties Management LLC sold the home at 2627 Gulf Gate Drive to Kirk Reimer Jr., of Valrico, for $263,000. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2013.

Bradley McBride, trustee, of Key West, sold the home at 3041 Markridge Road to Anthony and Cornelia Sellitto, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,515 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $133,500 in 2002.

Francisco and Ruth Cunha, of Sarasota, sold their Unit V-322 condominium at 2132 Riverbluff Parkway to Nancy Belbo and Allison Cozzolino, of Westerly, R.I., for $249,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $142,000 in 2000.

Equine Real Estate LLC sold the home at 3520 Brookline Drive to David and Jillian Nelson, of Sarasota, for $238,000. Built in 1967, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,090 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $164,000 in January.

Timothy Clemens, of Durango, Colo., sold his home at 2216 Brookhaven Drive to Jeffrey McCormick, of Fort Lauderdale, for $228,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,836 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $205,000 in 2008.

John Walls, trustee, of Tucker, Ga., and Barbara Houck, of Woodbridge, Va., sold the home at 3309 Pine Valley Lane to Kathleen Meeks-Hall and Kimberley Meeks-Hall, of Sarasota, for $220,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,493 square feet of living area.

Michael and Renita Wallack, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 7510 Midnight Pass Road to Andrea Graddis, of Sarasota, for $910,000. The first, built in 1949, has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,473 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1949, has two bedrooms, one bath and 720 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $375,000 in 1989.

Sarasota Beach
John Richards sold his home at 364 Canal Road to Minqua Path Investments LP for $850,000. Built in 1988, it has six bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,140 square feet of living area.

Richard Law, of Sioux Falls, S.D., sold the home at 336 Avenida De Mayo to Mark and Shelly Cox, of Wichita, Kan., for $640,000. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,914 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $367,500 in 2002.

Leo and Patricia Marshall, of Westport Point, Mass., sold their Unit 151 condominium at 5400 Ocean Blvd. to Susan Donnelly and William Donnelly, trustees, of Sarasota, for $790,000. Built in 1970, it has one bedroom, one bath and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2004.

Kathleen Groom, trustee, sold the Unit 201 condominium at 625 Beach Road to Philemon Ltd. Partnership for $465,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $150,000 in 1995.

Joy Emanuelli, trustee, sold the Unit 216 condominium at 8911 Midnight Pass Road to James Delong Jr. and Nancy Brady, of Massillon, Ohio, for $375,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,228 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $17,500 in 1977.

Kevin McCadden, of Tonawanda, N.Y., sold his Unit 401 condominium at 1255 E. Peppertree Drive to Brian and Paula Yorke, of Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $239,000 in 2012.

David and Susan Macrae, trustees, of Nokomis, sold the home at 321 Casey Key Road to SPE #102 LLC for $1,175,000. Built in 1956, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,070 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,390,000 in 2010.

Rat Investment Holdings Ltd. sold the home at 1156 Casey Key Road to Mary Pritchard, of Nokomis, for $1.02 million. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,717 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $717,000 in 2012.

Mission Valley Estates
Patrick and Maureen Bassett, of Nokomis, sold two properties at 2260 Mission Valley Blvd. to John and Danielle Stevens, of Sarasota, for $420,000. They were both built in 1970. One has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,285 square feet of living area. The other has one bath and 480 square feet of living area.

Evelyn Drybrough sold her home at 433 E. Rossetti Drive to Blake Mitchell, of Nokomis, for $245,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,301 square feet of living area.
