EAST COUNTY — AllCare Medical Center has what Dr. Matt Nessetti calls “a good problem to have.”
Both its staff and its patient base are growing at a fast rate.

“We’re a big family that’s packed in like sardines, bursting at the seams and something has to be done to fix it,” Nessetti said.

Nessetti and his wife and AllCare business partner, Dr. Doris Ramirez-Nessetti, have the right diagnosis.

“It’s time for a new place for our staff and our patients,” Matt Nessetti said.

AllCare, located in a 3,100-square-foot office in San Marco Plaza at 8209 Natures Way, Lakewood Ranch, is more than doubling its size with a new 18,000-square-foot office building that broke ground Monday at 5860 Ranch Lake Blvd., Bradenton. The new East Manatee office building will sit just southeast of a Walmart in the Ranch Lake Shopping Center area as part of the River Club Park of Commerce Development of Regional Impact. It will take at least nine months for the building to be constructed.

There’s more than one reason the medical practice needs a new facility.

“It’s positioned in one of the fastest growing markets in the country, and we offer a variety of medical needs,” Matt Nessetti said.

Matt Nessetti has been a clinical psychologist for 25 years and has been a family physician for 11 years. Doris Ramirez-Nessetti is a second-generation obstetrician/gynecologist who specializes in women’s health.

The couple moved to Lakewood Ranch in 2011 after practicing together in Lincoln, Neb.

“We wanted warmer weather and a place in Florida that was growing with families,” Matt Nessetti said.
Nessetti likes to think “we hit the jackpot both professionally and personally.”

In 2012, they opened their Florida practice and used a website to market themselves.

“We went from zero charts in our first year to hitting more than 4,500 charts last month,” Matt Nessetti said.
Matt Nessetti handles everything from pediatric care to psychology, noting that “my youngest patient is a day old and my oldest patient is 104.”

Doris Ramirez-Nessetti handles practices such as primary care and women’s health. She also handles everything from hysterectomies to robotic surgery.

The practice also offers outpatient care, including a lab that handles X-rays and ultrasounds.

And with a new office comes more opportunities to serve.

The practice, which now has six medical providers, began looking at the end of 2013 for a new facility.
The Nessettis agreed the Ranch Lake Plaza spot will be their new home and closed on the property in December 2013. They’ve spent the last 10 months designing the facility.

So what’s next for AllCare Medical?

“We are planning on adding some additional family physicians, expanded women’s health options, a moderate lab for complete blood counts, a normal lab for expanded tests, and a women’s health lab option for bone scans,” Matt Nessetti said.

Nessetti said they are also looking to add between three to five full-time psychologists and want to add physical therapy services in the future.

“It’s a great day for all of us, but especially for me,” Matt Nessetti said.

On Monday, the Nessettis celebrated the expansion with a groundbreaking ceremony located on site with family, friends and colleagues.

“This is all happening because of my wife, her support and our partnership in creating such a vision for our staff and our patients,” Matt Nessetti said. “It’s a great day and we’re excited for the future.”

Doris Ramirez-Nessetti called Monday the next step in the couple’s plans for patient care in the area.
