Lakewood Ranch Main Street restaurants will compete to win the award for best barbeque at the fifth annual Main Street Restaurant BBQ Cook-off Saturday, Sept. 21. 

The event, on Lakewood Ranch Main Street, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature barbeque from Ed’s Tavern, El Lago Ranchero, MacAllister’s Tavern and Grill, Main Street Trattoria, Station 400, Polo Grill and Bar and defending champs, Pincher’s Crab Shack. 

Proceeds benefit the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund. For information, visit lakewoodranch.com/bbqcontest.
