UPDATE: Man sought for taking pictures of children

The Sarasota Police Department has identified a man involved in suspicious activity near the Children's Fountain at Bayfront Island Park after 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, according to a news release.

The man depicted in two pictures by witnesses is not currently facing criminal charges, but detectives aimed to ask him questions about the incident.

A Reddit user posted a topic in the site's Sarasota section about the same man seen taking pictures of children at the park before fleeing following a confrontation.
