Services scheduled for Chief Hogle

A memorial service for Longboat Key Police Chief Al Hogle has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Robarts Arena, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota. A ceremony at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, will follow.

Hogle, 63, died Monday, May 14, in a North Carolina motorcycle accident.
