Town honors two 25-year employees

The Longboat Key Town Commission honored Planning Zoning & Building Office Manager Donna Chipman and Chief Accountant Sandy Moutoux for 25 years of service to the town at the Thursday, April 19, regular workshop. Town Planner Steve Schield said that Chipman’s responsibilities include preparing agendas, meeting minutes, organizing town files and dealing with the public.

“She’s a detail person,” he said. “She’s very thorough and we can always depend on her to keep us on the right track.”

Finance Director Tom Kelley said that Moutoux has been with the town 25 of the 29 years it has received a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting and said that he hopes to present her with a certificate honoring 30 years of service in another five years.
