Manatee School District clarifies class schedule

The Manatee County School District is offering clarification on two important school dates.

Public school students will have a full day of classes April 13, despite an error in the Manatee County Government calendar showing otherwise.

Additionally, April 18 will be a full day of school for students, rather than the normal early dismissal day usually observed on Wednesdays.

Dismissal times on April 18 will be 2:30 p.m. for high schools, 3:05 p.m. for elementary schools and 3:55 p.m. for middle schoolds.
